Dig Up The Yard

I’ve heard the guy who made this site was a pizza delivery man from North Carolina who had no connection to this case or the Smart family and no prior experience investigating missing person or cold cases.   If that’s true it makes this even more interesting, though incredibly bizarre since before diguptheyard.com he ran another website for a decade while he physically sat outside the house and would hold up a large sign in town. 

The site is registered to Dennis Mahon of 502 Center Meadow Lane in Danbury, CT. The site says you can call him 24/7/365 but there is no phone number to call.  That seems odd since the site is supposed to be there to get information.   There is a phone number (8452160836) with the whois registration but seems weird people who have to search for it to contact him. Same goes for his email address (email@yahoo.com).

If you have no idea what yard this refers to then you need to check this out and spend  the next couple hours learning all about this situation. It’s wild.  

Whatever his motivations he has gotten results before after he forced a lawsuit (of the Smart family even though they are not paying this guy) but ultimately it allowed them to search some of the yard. He is getting the word out and keeping pressure on those who need that pressure present.
